Attractive for New Customers in the Field of Structural Steel Engineering

The company, which is based in Karstädt/Brandenburg and belongs to the SCHORISCH Group headquartered in Reinbek near Hamburg, has three business divisions: structural steel and installation engineering, hydraulic steelwork and hydraulic engineering. In 2005, the main focus was put on an increasing customer-orientation by expanding sales activities – discernible by the opening of the Sales Office North in Rendsburg – and further developing the manufacturing activities. The manufacturing space has been increased by about 2,000 m² and investments have been made to further improve the quality of our products – quite in the sense of our company's motto "Diversity and Efficiency".

With this determined development of core competencies the interest of new groups of customers can be produced. Some of these new customers are e.g. a Swiss company offering special water treatment systems as well the German shipyard company LÜRSSEN Kröger in Rendsburg.

With the LÜRSSEN Kröger Shipyard Company, enjoying world-wide a first-grade reputation as a company specialised in the development and building of megayachts, we were able to draw a new group of customers trusting in the high performance and efficiency of SCHORISCH Magis GmbH.

Even in those fields in which SCHORISCH Magis has gained a very good reputation for many years, it was possible to achieve a successful and sustained economic growth. Especially with regard to the field of furnace construction the growth was impressive. Presently, a tempering line with a length of about 50 metres is being produced for an Italian customer. The scope of delivery also includes washing machines and transport systems for the feed and removal of special pallets.
