Seen with news eyes - new concepts for optical and electronical testing

Tralec GmbH - BU foxfamily

Reinbek/Hamburg

(rie)

Tralec GmbH from Reinbek near Hamburg presents on occasion of internatioanl fair productronica 2007 its test systems optifox for the AOI inspection and pinfox for the in-Circuit-testing.

Before the decision for a test procedure an examination stands with Tralec whether the typical errors of the which is applicable building group can be recognized at all with the selected method. Procedures are suitable differently, either the construction unit assembly or soldering errors is to be found. However there is no test system know in the market which guarantees a 100% recognition, usually several tests are necessary. Therefore there is never "the test system", but always one application optimized solution.

Tralec offers products of the foxfamily, a modular concept, which actually consists of an electrical system and an optical test system. The test systems and the pertinent software were developed consistently with open interfaces. So each user can combine the stations and adapt it to its individual needs.

The managing director of Tralec, Mr. Andreas Repenning, describes the differences between his concept and other test methods by using the examples of Tangram and Jigsaw puzzle: "With a puzzle difficult forms can be joined in only one way correctly. The attraction of Tangram lies however in a nearly boundless number of combination options of the sieved simple components."

Products

Due to the new and singular lens system OLS the AOI system optifox supplies pictures with 30 mm of depth sharpness in a format of more than 30 cm2 almost distortion-free. These characteristics are the basis for an efficient and precise Pattern Matching procedure. optifox is able to examine also different objects than groups of low rise buildings optically.

pinfox a modular, flexible in-circuit-inspection concept. The main differentiations of pinfox to other test systems are its emphasis on the minimization of parasitic tester data and the combination variety of the modules. The new concept pinfox makes the tests more exact and faster and the necessary equipment smaller. Voltage-correct measuring eliminates parasitic tester data. The pinfox software generates synthetic instruments, optimized on the respective test task.

Tralec is presenting optifox und pinfox on the occasion of the international fair productronica in Munich - Halle A1, booth 552.
